Attendance and Issue

Since the beginning, Cook Au Vin do our out most to ensure everyone to have the best time as possible at our dinner.

Nevertheless, it requires efforts on both part to be able to synchronise a crowd with their dinner expectation on one hand and a fully dedicated team with their food and services on the other.

Of course we want to please everyone, and it's a hard decision to make, to not allowed any body to just walk in.

But after several misfortunes, it appears that for the comfort of a few, it's the entire group that found itself in a non enjoyable position.

•    Either because there is too many no show and it's a pity to waist.

•    Either because there is too many last minutes show up, not enough food and too much to wait.

In the meantime we are trying to guarantee you the best quality at the best price, so as you could imagine the quantity being calculated as precisely as possible. Each waist = a loss.
So it doesn't reward the efforts nor the motivation.

That's why we tremendously insist for having everybody booking and paying in advance.

As an example of what should never happen again: Sep 14 2006:

- 30 people confirm and came

- 67 show up and eat

- 53 paid and eat
- 30 people felt unconfortable and couldn't find any other explaination than blaming it on the organisation.

We still appologising for that.

Thank you for your support.
